Ebro (Spain) — from classic commercial vehicles to modern revival under Ebro-Chery
Ebro was originally founded in 1954 under Motor Ibérica S.A., to build light and medium trucks and tractors — under licence at first, then expanding into a broad range of commercial and agricultural vehicles. During its “golden years” (1960s–1970s), Ebro expanded by acquiring several Spanish light-vehicle makers (vans, utility 4x4s, minibuses, etc.), which greatly diversified its product line: trucks, vans, buses, 4×4 utility vehicles, tractors.
